While the pandemic has slowed R&D in a number of sectors, and even among some of our competitors, we’ve used the past 18 months as a time to continue developing products that make a measurable difference wherever they’re used.
For starters, the Coaxial Cable 6450BK1000 used for 12Ghz SDI video applications is ideal for use in broadcast studios, performing arts venues, sports facilities and houses of worship. It features a silver-plated coated conductor that offers excellent RL and transmission of high-quality signals.
Given how receptive our customers have been to this product, we’re considering offering it in Plenum and other RG sizes, so stay tuned for future developments on this front.
Our 18/2 Shielded CMP High Temp Indoor/Outdoor Direct Burial Cable HT25293RD1000 is ideal for applications related to audio or control in manufacturing environments and gas stations.
Additionally, our Outdoor Coaxial Cable 808XWBBK1000 sets the standard for audio quality in performing arts venues and other settings where ideal sound quality is difficult to achieve.
The Access Control Door Cable BP518223P1000 has an unjacketed design. This “banana peel” feature allows for easier installation which accelerates project completion timetables in healthcare facilities, government buildings, schools and other large structures.
Rounding out our selection of new products is a pair of Access Control Cables. The 1PR2418PBK1000 and 1PR2216PBK1000 that will be available soon. Both products meet the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) access control communications standard developed by the Security Industry Association (SIA) to improve interoperability among access control and security products. This new system standard is becoming more popular because of its practicality, and these cables can help you comply with those guidelines.
In fact, the 1PR2418PBK1000 is a new system standard. As a result, it is becoming a more popular choice than many access control cables that have been on the market for years.
These cables are unique to the market or are offered by a limited number of manufacturers, which means that we’re giving you more choices than you previously had, and that’s something which has always set us apart from competitors and is one of the reasons we’re celebrating 50 years in business this year.
